'OHANA - An amazing experience (Character Meal)

Updated: Jan 16, 2020

There are so many wonderful places to enjoy for breakfast and character dining at Walt Disney World. The Magic Dust favorite is the Best Friends Breakfast at 'Ohana, located in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Lilo and Stitch, along with other friends (currently Mickey and Pluto), invite you and your ʻohana to an American breakfast influenced by Polynesian flavors. This Character meal is available daily for breakfast and is on the Dining Plan. Feast family-style as Disney Friends visit with Guests, sign autographs and pose for photos. Breakfast selections include scrambled eggs, Mickey Waffles, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple, a variety of fresh fruits and assorted breads. 'Ohana means Family!

Time: Plan on about 1.5 hours for breakfast.

Pros: Food options to please most people (all-you-can-eat American breakfast), kids are included in activities during the meal. The pineapple-coconut bread and passion fruit juice is a great start to any day!

Cons: This breakfast is one of the more popular spots so reservations are hard to get, check in for early morning reservations can take a long time so maybe even consider arriving early for your reservation.

Tip

I would recommend this character meal on your resort day. Sleep in and grab a 10:30ish reservation and so the crowd is smaller. This gives you a great interaction with the characters (it won't feel rushed). Book ASAP if you are interested in eating here, breakfast hours extend until 12:00 pm. Make sure to wander around the Great Ceremonial House (Lobby of the Polynesian) while waiting.
